In addition, I coach and train employees internally. All in all, plenty of fun stuff. And I'm enjoying that. Not just from my work. But my colleagues also often put a smile on my face.

A typical Gert-Jan day

As an Agile Coach, I start every day with a daily stand-up. On days that we work from home, we do this online. During this session, we will discuss what is on the agenda that day. I then have several contact moments, such as meetings with management, team and scrum events, and I have one-on-one discussions with colleagues. I also provide appropriate training courses to help the teams grow further and I am often in the workplace to have conversations about the progress and dynamics in the teams.

In my daily work, I like to connect with people. My goal is to remove all resistance in the team. Here, it is essential to discover what is going on and what we are up against. As an organization, as a team or as an individual. How do I do this? By talking to each other. And that's not just business. Informal conversations in the workplace also provide a connection.

Enjoying work and colleagues

Like I said, I enjoy the things I do at TeamValue. There are specific moments that are special to me. One of those “oh yeah” moments is when the team independently organizes a scrum event, after I've trained them and done it. I really love that! It confirms that I've helped the team go one step further. Isn't that what you do it for?!

Together, you can really add value. Thanks to the cooperation with energetic colleagues, we strive for optimal IT solutions and organizational changes for our customers. In addition, we encourage each other to make progress. When I look at my own development, I notice that I no longer just look at the assignment, but place it within the context of The Golden Path. For the coming year, I have drawn up a growth plan that sets clear goals for obtaining certificates and maintaining market knowledge. This way, I can continue my development in a targeted manner.

Energetic is the appropriate word

How would I describe TeamValue? It probably wouldn't be the last time I'm going to mention this word, but as very energetic. I think that's so appropriate for TeamValue. The organization really exudes personality, fun and energy. In addition, everyone wants to grow. And we work together to go the extra mile. I love that everything is done with a touch of fun.
